I have always found the time when I had my period incredibly uncomfortable. The pain, sweating, discomfort, hunger...store-bought disposable pads only made it worse. I’ve tried countless menstrual cups after hearing so many positive reviews, but I found them extremely uncomfortable, so I only used tampons and pads. From now on, it's only reusable menstrual pads for me!

I always thought the idea of reusable menstrual pads was somewhat...unhygienic? But then it occurred to me that sometimes leaks happen during my period anyway, and I still have to wash my underwear. What I love most about these cloth pads is the cost-effectiveness and the fact that they are eco-friendly.

Since I have a job that involves a lot of physical work and sweating, the disposable pads would always stick to my skin, were uncomfortable, would peel off when I used the restroom, and by the end of the day, they smelled terribly (sweat, blood, and an non-breathable environment is a very bad combination). On top of that, it's a breeding ground for bacteria! There was even a point where I had to apply skin ointment daily (multiple times a day!) and then just endure the discomfort until my period was over.

That's when I started looking for a solution and found Racman reusable menstrual pads. Since I got them, I haven’t looked back! They’re super practical, extremely comfortable to wear, my skin doesn’t sweat, and most importantly – there’s no unpleasant smell! I was actually shocked after the first use at how easy and pleasant they are. I then ordered another pack and now I have enough to last the whole period. In addition to comfort, the designs are also very pretty, and you happily wear them.

For washing, my system is to fill a bucket with cold water, where I then "dip" the used cloth pads. Before this, I rinse them as much as possible so I don't have to change the water too often. When I have enough white items to wash, I put the pads in the wash at 95°C. Then, depending on the weather and my preferences, I either air-dry them or put them in the dryer. I usually iron them too because I like them neat and smooth.
